Ammoblast-Y is a synergistic combination of ammonia oxidizing biochemical system along with an extract of Yucca schidigera. Ammonia gets generated at the bottom of the pond due to microbial degradation of organic matter like fecal matter of fish/shrimps; unutilized high protein feed particles and body parts of dead fish. Level of dissolved ammonia beyond 0.01 ppm in pond water is highly toxic to fish which leads to mortality and reduced weight gain.
Ammoblast-Y has a dual action of binding ammonia by way of Yucca extract and converting ammonia into nitrates by way of ammonia oxidizing biochemical system.
Similarly it binds other toxic gases like hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, methane, sulfur dioxide etc.
