The biosynergistic role of Vitamin E and Selenium as biological antioxidant and free radical scavenger is well established. Vitamin E is the “first line of defence” against free radicals (peroxides) in the membrane and also in sub cellular membranes. Vitamin E and Selenium form an integral part of the antioxidant system containing enzyme Glutathione peroxidase. They work together to protect tissue from oxidative attacks by free radicals like super oxide.
External oxidative stressors like UV radiation and temperature play a significant role in shrimp/fish health by accelerating the formation of free radicals.
Bio-Sel-E (Aqua) therefore acts as a powerful antioxidant which protects the biological systems.
Selenium is also required for sperm formation. Selenium deficiency result in Poor sperm mobility and lower fertilization rates. Hence Bio-Sel-E (Aqua) enhances the breeding performance of shrimp/fish. Other deficiencies of selenium in aquaculture result in reduced growth rates, impaired immune response and greater susceptibility to pathogenic challenge.
Composition
Each gram contains
Biotin ( Vit H) : 20 mcg
Selenium : 200 mcg
Vitamin E : 100 mg
Carrier : Q.S.

Dosage
Shrimp : 2-5 g per kg feed once a day
Scampi : 2-5 g per kg feed once a day
Fish : 200 g per ton of feed
For feed plants and other applications use as per recommendation of an Aquaculturist . |
