Perox offers a unique combination of stabilized perecetic acid (CH3COOOH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)It acts by releasing free oxygen [O] and hydroxyl radical [OH]. It has a broad spectrum of activity, which includes vegetative bacteria, viruses, fungi and bacterial spores. Perox acts by disrupting the cell membrane and rupturing the cell wall. Controlling the biofilm has a significant effect on the hygiene of fruit juices and processed products.In breweries, Perox can be used as a decontaminating agent in the final bottle rinse as well as a spraying agent for surface decontamination of production vessels. Perox acts effectively to penetrate through the biofilm (bacterial slime) generated on the surface Use of Peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide is highly recommended by WHO and OIE since the do not leave behind any toxic residues and are completely biodegradable. PRECAUTIONS
- Store in a cool and dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
- Avoid direct contact of concentrated solution with eyes and skin
- In case of contact, rinse with ample quantity of water preferably with 1% sodium bicarbonate( NaHCo3).
